Let’s be the Force of Change….the Force of the Youth
I saw the power and the strength in every single one of them on stage. The singing, dancing, skits and testimonies were all justification of what the youth are capable of. I immediately felt a change in myself and believed that all present felt the same change. I believe that Trinidad and Tobago is going to be " sweet sweet tnt" once again with the ambition and love CFC Youth For Christ has bought across the country, I see hope crossing the lands once again. I saw the force, it was a force of strong love reaching out to change hearts, a force of team spirit, faith building and changing the world. The conference I believe was one of the most amazing things that a person could have experienced. It made you realise how we as a nation can change, how the love of God automatically drops you to your knees and make you bow your head. I learnt at the conference the true beauty a smile can bring to a person's life, how much it means to the elderly when we visit them, the importance of being the best you can be and being a positive influence, I heard that even looking to the sky and saying a simple four letter word such as "Amen" is a way of giving praise. The Lord loves us, and what we do with ourselves is our way of showing love in return. We were made to know God, love him and serve him in this life, let us be a part of this force and influence others to make this change not only a vision but into a reality. I remember singing at the conference the song "…my life is in you lord.... my strength is in you lord...my hope is in you lord...is in you...is in you.” My friends who were beside me were singing along and when we looked around we realised everyone was also singing and doing the actions. It showed that the youth who were there are above the influence and have strength to spread the joy they share with the holy one. Let us be the best we can be and live by our national motto "Together we aspire, Together we achieve"
