Love Forum 2007 100% Pure …the event

With loving embrace the members greeted each other as they entered the house of the Lord. Praise and worship filled the atmosphere led by the music ministry of CFC Youth for Christ. With such a welcoming the congregation could not help but to sing and dance as the outpouring of the Holy Spirit rained down upon them.
 A blissful environment was felt as everyone stood united, all dressed in white, waving their hands towards the heaven humming along to the words of “One Way” declaring that Jesus is the only one that they could ever live for. We were given covenant cards that outline purity in mind, body and heart along with a handband that had “100% PURE” engraved upon it. The words were a reminder to our commitment to being 100% pure despite our present imperfections.
This event gave a true account of a shameful world sinking deeper into BELIAR’s wrath of destruction yet reminded us that among those who are called only a few are chosen and these are the ones that are amidst the world today teaching us about the words of our Lord, guiding us towards change, showing us that there isn’t enough darkness in the world to extinguish the lights of God’s children.
A talk was given entitled “Purity” which outlined ten stances that we should take. They are
- no to drugs
- 0% alcohol
- pure in mind and speech
- virgin and proud
- no smoking
- not to gay lifestyles
- pro-life
- true love waits
- no to masturbation
- porn – NO!
The message conveyed was “God gave us a unique gift. It is to be treated holy and with care. Our bodies are the temples of God and are only to be shared in honour of Him because we exist only for Him as He has so graciously willed it so. If you want to know how God will bless when you say “Yes to Sex”, then wait until marriage. What else could have ended off such a gathering but a “Pure Party” where every yoke was lifted up to be broken from our youths knowing that Jesus is the answer for the world today!
DARE TO BE 100% PURE!!
In MIND – by rejecting all forms of evil thoughts and desires
In BODY – by not engaging in any form of sexual activity and addiction
In HEART - by rejecting all forms of violent tendencies. |
