Forum CFC Youth
For Christ (YFC) is hosting a Love
Forum on February 13th just in time for Valentine’s
Day The Love Forum is a whole day activity intended for all young adults to educate them about crucial issues in their lives. While personal identity, family life, and peer influence are addressed, the issue of Love will be the main focus of the day’s activities. Teenagers will learn how to deal with attraction to the opposite sex and limit the emotional roller coasters. General objectives of the forum are....
This is done using using music, energizers, worship, games, talks, discussions, fashion show and Praisefest. Yippee!! All youths, whether or not they are in YFC are invited. Registration fee is $5.00, and participants are encouraged to walk with lunch and beverage. Venue is St. Xavier’s school in St. Joseph. Time is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please attend Mass at your parish because Holy Mass is not on the agenda for the Love Forum. Adults are asked to begin intercessions NOW.
7th Anniversary Celebrations What a week of celebrations: - The sublime simplicity and joy of Opening Mass of San Juan, the festive air at Paramin’s concert, the praises at Grande’s Praisefest, the entertainment at Arouca’s Echantillon, the exhilaration at St. Augustine’s All Inclusive, the easy flow of Diego Martin’s Sharing and the raw energy at CFC 7th Anniversary Family Day.
CFC Caribbean Conference Countdown “GOD IS ENOUGH” Ps 3 7 months to go and your conference fee isn’t paid yet?!?? Do your have your wardrobe of CFC jerseys ready? Do you even have the rooms ready for hosting our Caribbean guests? What are you waiting for? Christmas? Get cracking people, God’s work has to get done and we are the ones to do it. Registration forms will be available by next week. Theme: Every year our global CFC leaders pray and discern what is God's word for the ministry in the coming year. This Word is usually accompanied by scriptural confirmation and is used as the theme for every CFC Conference worldwide. For 2003 it was "Possess the Land" from Joshua, in 2004 it was "Fear Not" from Isaiah. For 2005 it is "God is Enough" from Psalm 23 The Lord is my Shepherd, there is nothing I shall lack. This theme will be festooned on banners at the Caribbean Conference in August just as it has been proclaimed at all CFC conferences worldwide in 2005. So trust Him to provide for you and start believing “there is nothing I shall lack”. Fundraising: Our Conference Fundraising/Sponsorship Committee is headed by the indefatigable Keith Fung, who ………needs your help. Keith says “If you have any ideas on fundraisers e.g. tea party, fashion show, please call me, 629-2128, 680-2681 so that we can start or first fundraising events by Easter Monday.” He wants to start planning with his committee by Saturday 12th February.
