Christ 6th Caribbean Conference

The theme “God is Enough” 6th Caribbean Conference of CFC provided
an opportunity for us as participants to examine our consciences and
evaluate the status of our walk with God.On the way to the Banquet which
God Himself has prepared for us, the banquet of eternal life, we sometimes
struggle in our journey with the Lord and so, we keep searching, trying to
discover whether we are truly pleasing God. The reservations and anxiety
which we experience comes from our human nature. The obstacles we
encounter along the way, the hard times, disappointments, discouragement
and other negative vibes we encounter, all make us wonder, are we really
doing His will? Can we truly say His is Enough?
The theme of this 6th Caribbean Conference of Couples for Christ is
both timely and appropriate. Having listened to the various talks, there
is no doubt that our spirits have been rejuvenated to the point where we
experienced peace and tranquility, real fellowship with God and our family
of CFC ministries.
We learned from Talk 1 that Jesus our shepherd and provider ensures our
needs are met and because God is Enough for us we lack nothing. And when
the trials of life seem to threaten our very existence and Satan attempts
to overwhelm us in the dark valleys of death, we are assured that because
our God is Enough we shall not fear the consequences of our walk through
that valley. We have no reason to fear for our God is Enough and He always
guides us in the right path, the path to peace, tranquility and rejoicing
at the banquet which He has prepared for us. And because our God is so
much more than Enough for us we can do no less than completely surrender
ourselves to Him and continue to dwell in the household of faith which He
has provided for us where we shall dwell with Him eternally.
